Terms of Service

Applies to the CellPi and CellPi Light iOS apps. Effective 23 August 2026.

By installing or using CellPi or CellPi Light ("the apps"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

What the apps are

The apps are cellular field-survey and measurement tools. They pair with your own external hardware (a WLAN Pi single-board computer and a compatible modem) over your local network to log and display cellular signal and related data. TeigenRF does not supply that hardware.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the hardware you connect to and for operating it lawfully.
• You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply where you use the apps, including rules on radio spectrum, cellular networks, and privacy. Measure only networks and services you are permitted to measure.
• The apps are intended for passive measurement and diagnostics of service you are entitled to use. Do not use them to intercept others' communications or for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of measurements. Cellular readings depend on your hardware, firmware, and network conditions and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for safety-critical or regulatory decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeigenRF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the apps.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
